2019 There were more changes of officer at the AGM on Tuesday April 9th, 2019.
Alan Baker joined Brian Capron as Vice President, while Tony Flood was joined as joint Chairman by Terence Walter until Mr Walter left the club. Nigel Gearing became Vice Chairman and Francis Wait took over as Competitions Secretary from Dave Wells.
Rod and Alistair Colley, voted honorary members in recognition of their work in hosting and maintaining our website, took over from Tony Flood as joint Website Editors.
In the year ending March 31st 2019, the Anderida assets amounted to £518.32 represented by cash at the bank. Treasurer Roger Hardman reported that our expenditure exceeded our receipts by £240.00.This loss was due partly to a drop in competition entry fees and the fact that the Christmas Dinner cost £605.00, resulting in a net loss for this event of £105.00. Fortunately we did not have to pay any fees for meeting rooms due to deals made by Dave Wells with the West Rocks Hotel and the Cavendish Hotel, and later by Tony Flood with the Hydro Hotel following a suggestion to the manager by Anderida member Alex Hudson.
Alan Baker handed over the reading of the competition entries to Brian Capron and Susan Thacker (Sue Shephard).
